„Piaskun" -Gintarė Radvilavičiūtė - Vilniaus Teatras Lėlė (Litwa)

Reżysera przedstawienia zainteresował przede wszystkim temat dualizmu ludzkiej duszy, a także oscylowania pomiędzy tym co żywe, a tym co martwe. Udało mu się to pięknie wyrazić poprzez transformację aktor – lalka. To rozszczepienie oddaje doskonale połączenie tancerza-animatora z manekinem.
Realizatorów spektaklu zafascynowała strona wizualna opowieści Hoffmanna, która pozwoliła im stworzyć spektakl teatru formy bez użycia słów. To niezwykle kunsztownie wyreżyserowane i zagrane przedstawienie, pełne pięknych obrazów i zaskakujących metamorfoz, które zabiera nas w podróż po labiryntach ludzkiej podświadomości i wyobraźni.
Nagroda Złoty Sceniczny Krzyż Litewskiego Ministerstwa Kultury za najlepsze przedstawienie 2014 roku w kategorii teatr lalek i przedmiotów.

Vilniaus Teatras Lėlė "Sandman" (Lithuania)

A distinctive performance that combines dance theatre with puppet and mask animations.The play has been inspired by the work of E.T.A. Hoffmann showing man balancing on the verge of insanity, and suspended in-between the reality and fantasy. Immersed in dark visions, the character is forced to set himself against his own inner feelings; his soul dies of egoism, lack of faith, and doubt.
The director of the play has been interested mainly in the duality of human soul, and in the oscillating between what is alive and what is dead. He has managed to express it beautifully through an actor-puppet transformation. This fission is greatly depicted by an actor-size dummy connected with the dancer who animates it.
The producers have been fascinated by Hoffmann's visual story which let them create a performance within the form theatre without the use of words. Sandman is an intricately produced and performed show, which is full of beautiful images and surprising metamorphoses, and which takes us on a trip to the labyrinth of human subconsciousness and imagination.
